Fishing Vacations and Charters

Central Florida's Vacation spot at Port Canaveral

Friday June 23, 2017

Port Canaveral offers a perfect vacation opportunity to spend a day of fishing in the Florida sunshine. An alternative holiday to our theme parks, Canaveral's fishing is unparalleled in consistent fishing with a good variety of game fish offering a refreshing substitute for vacationing tourist in central Florida.

Over the years we've found that many of our visitors get burned out from the typical Walt Disney World visit and have turned to the outdoors for their adventure. Spending a day on the water soaking up the sun and pulling on some of Florida's fine game fish transports tourist into a local atmosphere where they feel as if they are participating in something other than visiting an illusion and often delusional theme-park where fantasy never meets reality. Our outdoor fishing vacations, make you feel alive and refreshed rather than frustrated after waiting in line for over an hour to experience a 45 second ride on Space Mountain.

Contrast several hours of fishing and soaking up Florida's sunshine in our center console fishing machine with a short ride at Disney's Small World, most find it's a better bang for their buck and return the following year for more fishing fun.

In a time where Social Networking, Blockbuster Movies, Fantasy Theme parks and Cell Phones have complicated our views of what a simple outdoor vacation should be, a fishing trip to Port Canaveral east of Orlando can offer what many people haven't considered for their family holiday. " It's a healthy and better way to spend your time in Florida in my opinion claims Captain Gina of Lagooner Fishing Guides. We see kids getting involved with an outdoor activity and learn about the ocean and it's wildlife."

Let Lagooner Fishing Guides put your vacation plans together while your visiting the central Florida. We'll give you the best opportunities to catch fish and enjoy our sunshine without standing in lines. Supplement your cruise plans out of Port Canaveral with a value added fishing trip before or after you spend a several days aboard one of our Cruise Ships.

Inshore Charter Fishing in the Banana River Lagoon near Cocoa Beach, Florida. Catch redfish, sea trout, tarpon, snook and many other saltwater gamefish aboard the world famous Lagooner flats fishing boat with renowned Captain Richard Bradley.

Excellent Christmas Fishing Trip - My son and I had a wonderful fishing trip with Captain Richard. He was knowledgeable, friendly and willing to work hard to insure we caught fish and had a wonderful experience. Captain Gina was first rate in setting up our trip, providing great information and directions.
